DevOps Engineer – remote

Introduction

We are looking for 2-4 candidates to join our emerging team, whose responsibility would be to develop the Messaging Service at one of the largest telecom operators in the Scandinavian market, here specifically for Norway.

ABOUT POSITION

Long-term project
The competences in the team will be distributed among several people, so we are not looking for one Superhero. However, we are looking for more senior candidates, so it would be advisable for candidates to have at least some knowledge/experience with public cloud (ideally AWS).
Contract/Permanent placement
Ostrava – Remote

REQUIREMENTS

AWS Platform competence (preferably certified)
Coding practices CMU coding standards for Java

Normal competence for a full stack developer:

HTML/CSS
JavaScript/Typescript
Java/Go
API competence and preferably framework competence

Cloud ops engineer:

Strong Java developer
Application Load balancers
Normal Database competence
SQS and queue thinking
Infra as Code (Terraforming)
Security OWASP/Static code analyzer
Grafana/Prometheus

Process competence:

Agile methodologies
SAFE
DevSecOps
CI/CD understanding

Personality:

Normal Dare/Care/Simplify
Want to excel together with the team and continue developing us as a high performing team
Collaborative mindset
End-to-End mindset and responsibility
Understanding customer centric viewpoint and a business critical platform
