We are looking for a Platform Engineer to join our client’s team. Job description

In this role, you’ll work within a large-scale cloud environment, managing an extensive IT infrastructure supporting 200+ customers across 18 clusters and over 250 nodes. The environment includes 6,000+ pods, 1,400 virtual servers, 300+ databases, and more than 600 TB of storage – processing over 200 GB of logs daily.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Close collaboration with the product development team to implement cloud-ready principles into Java applications.
  • Analysis and resolution of production incidents.
  • Reviewing newly proposed architecture solutions to ensure cloud readiness.
  • Creating and updating deployment standards across the R&D organization.
  • Contributing to a wide variety of challenging and impactful projects.

Requirements

  • Proficient in at least one of the following programming languages: Java, C#, Python, or Go.
  • Experience developing applications for Kubernetes or Docker using a microservice architecture.
  • Ability to identify weak points in proposed solutions.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain your ideas clearly to others.
