Introduction

Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in migrating our BI solutions to Microsoft Fabric? We’re looking for a skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team in Prague.

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will lead the migration of our BI solutions from on-premises SQL Server to MS Fabric. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a strategic initiative, designing solution structures across multiple layers (Bronze, Silver, Gold & Platinum). You’ll play a key role in developing new features and ensuring seamless integration into our modern BI platform.

Job description

Migration of tables and semantic models to MS Fabric
Internal testing, documentation, and optimization of migrated solutions
Development of new features across solution layers

Requirements

Advanced experience with MS Fabric components (Lakehouses, Warehouses, Pipelines & Notebooks)
Proficiency in T-SQL and Power BI/Fabric semantic models with DAX
Knowledge of PySpark and Azure DevOps for versioning and deployment

NICE TO HAVE:

Experience with Azure Log Analytics and SSAS Tabular models
Familiarity with DAX performance tuning and Power BI report development
