Introduction

You will join a long-term infrastructure support and consulting project delivered for a leading global technology and IT services company supporting enterprise customers in sectors such as finance, manufacturing, and public services. The focus is on maintaining, optimizing, and troubleshooting Active Directory environments and Identity & Access solutions.

This is a hybrid role combining the responsibilities of a Customer Engineer and a CSS Support Engineer. You will work both proactively (best practices, assessments, optimizations) and reactively (incident troubleshooting, root cause analysis, performance issues).

Job description

  • Provide advanced technical support and consulting in Active Directory and Identity & Access
  • Troubleshoot complex Active Directory issues including replication, performance, Group Policy, and security
  • Support disaster recovery, migrations, and performance tuning
  • Conduct proactive services such as assessments, environment reviews, and optimizations
  • Collaborate with customer IT teams including advanced-level Windows infrastructure support
  • Handle escalations and perform root cause analysis
  • Work remotely in a distributed, international delivery model

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Active Directory Domain Services
  • Group Policy design and troubleshooting
  • AD replication, performance tuning, and disaster recovery
  • Security and administration of Active Directory environments
  • Solid troubleshooting skills in enterprise infrastructure
  • Basic networking knowledge (IP, DNS, DHCP, routing)
  • Ability to work independently in complex environments
  • Excellent written and spoken English

Preferred:

  • Experience with identity management technologies (e.g., Microsoft Identity Manager, ADFS)
  • Knowledge of Azure AD and Azure AD Connect
  • Scripting skills (PowerShell)
  • Familiarity with Windows troubleshooting tools (ProcMon, WinDbg, WPA, NetMon)
  • Understanding of ITIL and case management tools
